16th annual model show and contest in downtown Leavenworth, Kansas, the first city of Kansas. Registration opens at 9:00 a.m. and closes at noon. Awards begin at 3:00 p.m. Large raffle and vendor room. If interested in vending, tables are $10 each; contact the contest chair to reserve yours.
Theme for 2024 is "1960s-1980s-- The Bronze Age of Modeling." Dig out those old kits from your basement, and build it out of the box-- show us what you can do with these older kits. No PE or aftermarket allowed except decals. Lots of putty is required!
Venue is the Heritage Center, 109 Delaware Street, Leavenworth. Hotels, restaurants, and a carousel museum within a short walk of the site.
